Vegetables and salads

Broccoli Salad

1 (bunch) fresh broccoli, finely chopped

1/2 c. Green Onions, sliced

7-8 slices bacon, fried crisp

1 c. Whole sunflower seeds

3/4 c. Grated Cheddar Cheese

Dressing:

3/4 c. Mayonnaise

1/2 c. Sugar

2 Tblsp. Vinegar

Prepare all ingredients. Mix dressing ingredients. Combine all ingredients and marinate before serving. 

Pasta Salad

1 lb. Pasta, cooked, cooled

3/4 c. Green onion, chopped

3/4 c. Celery, chopped

3/4 c. Red Pepper, chopped

3/4 c. Green Pepper, chopped

3/4 c. Yellow Pepper, chopped

1 cube Feta Cheese, crumbled

1 lb. Bacon, fried crisp, crumbled

Dressing:

1 c. Sugar

6 Tblsp. Tarragon Vinegar

1/2 c. Salad Oil

2 c. Miracle Whip

1/2 tsp. Salt

Mix first seven ingredients, not bacon. To prepare dressing: mix ingredients in blender or mixer. Add dressing to pasta mix; refrigerate overnight and add bacon next day.
